Remember that physical inspection is also required, as is CE/kite certification marking. In my experience far more bouyancy aids fail the physical inspection than the water test. They are no good if they cannot be secured to the body and should be able to stand the rigours that might be entailed in a rescue situation. ie. Being pulled into a boat by the collars.
Trapped Air to be squeezed out of Bouyancy Aid. Ensure tank is deep enough so that weights are not resting on the bottom.
